The Mercury Hobart Wednesday 26th January 1949; Sandy Bay Bride Wears Pearl Grey Frock With Burgundy Accessories.
A PEARL grey crepe frock, with burgundy accessories, was worn by Dorothy Roberts for her marriage with Lindsay Miller at Sandy Bay on Saturday. THE bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Roberts, Regent St., Sandy Bay, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. D. Miller, Queenstown. The ceremony was held at the home of the bride's parents, and the Rev. G. T. Goldsmith officiated.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Marjorie Roberts. Mr. B. Jaap was best man. Mr. and Mrs. Miller will spend their honeymoon at Glenelg (S.A.), and will live in Adelaide.
There is a WW2 record, naval reserve 1942, for Lindsay Robert Miller b. 4 June 1918, next of kin father Robert, living at Queenstown, then Sandy Bay.
