- The Register Adelaide Tuesday 25th April 1911, By the death of Mr. Andrew Loutit, atthe age of 51 years, which occurred suddenly on Sunday, Glenelg has lost a familiar figure and highly esteemed resident. He was present at the local bowling green on Saturday, and was congratulated upon his apparent recovery from a three months attack of a serious heart complaint. His sudden death, therefore, came as a great shock. Deceased was the eldest son of Mr. A. Loutit, of Medindie, formerly of Mount Gambier, and for many years was accountant to Messrs. George Wills & Co.Mr. Loutit has left a widow and two young sons.
