MR. WILLIAM STANGER; The death occurred of William Stanger at the Bunbury Hospital on August 13 at the age of 83 years. Deceased was bom in Stromness, Orkney Island. During his younger life he travelled in various parts of the world before the mast. After leaving the sea he lived 13 years in
South Australia and the latter 43 in Western Australia. Many years ago he was a restaurant proprietor in Bunbury and willbe remembered by many of the old identities. Deceased returned to reside in Bunbury about 12 months ago, after spending several years in Perth. He leaves a widow and two married
daughters, Mrs. W. Wheeler, of Rathmines, and Mrs. L. Curo, of West Perth. Deceased'swife resides at his late residence in Edward-street,Bunbury.
The late Mr. Stanger had been in failing health for several years. Masonic Lodge under the Scottish constitution. The funeral took place on August 15, leaving the private service chapel of Wm. Brittainand Son at 11 a.m., proceeding to the Anglican portion of the Bunbury cemetery. Archdeacon Adams officiated at the graveside. The pallbearers were Messrs. G. Perkins, representing the Lodge of Freemasons, N. Elms, J. Brown, G. Sloan,E. Freeman, F. Pearce, J. Teede, Con. Sabastian.,
